Your organization has the information. What's the best way to get it to the people who need it?

100 years ago, more than 90% of the workforce of Europe and North America worked in the production, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and delivery of agricultural goods.

By 1950, more than 75% of the workforce in the advanced industrial countries was engaged in the production, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and delivery of manufactured goods.

In the new century, already more than 60% of the workforce is engaged in the production, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and delivery of information.

Every year, the amount of new information more than doubles. At the same time, more than 30% of all existing information becomes obsolete.

In the year 2002, enough new information was created to fill the U.S. Library of Congress 37,000 times.

The new economy runs on information. One of the key efficiencies for new economy companies is a well-engineered pathway from the information they own to those who need that information.
